STINGER PROOF
Proof: job-site photo documentation software
Does what the job-site photo documentation apps contractors already pay for do (capture, tag, mark up, flag damage, and hand the customer a timestamped report) except the photos live on the same job record as the quote, the schedule and the books, not in another app that only links out.
Formerly Visual Records. Proof stands on its own and is built into Construction and Service.
See it in action
Shown is the record trail and the screens your crew's photos land on. The photo viewer starts empty until your crew adds photos, so it is not shown populated. Included with every Command Center tier.
One record, every front door
How does one photo stay in sync across Construction and Service?
One backend holds every visual record. The Construction and Service platforms open it on the job they are already looking at, and the standalone view opens the same records by customer, property or job. A photo a tech takes on a service visit is the same photo the office sees on the construction job an hour later, not a copy, the record.
What it does
What does a foreman, a tech, and an adjuster each need from a photo?
Capture, tagged from the start
Photo or video, uploaded against a customer, property or job with the time, the person who took it and which app it came from. A checksum is stored with every file so a record cannot be quietly swapped later.
Sealed on disk
The file itself is encrypted with AES-256-GCM under its own random key at upload, and that key is wrapped by the same master key that protects your connected credentials elsewhere in Command Center.
GPS on the record
Check in and the device's location is stamped onto the photo, latitude, longitude, and the address, so where a shot was taken rides on the record into the insurance PDF. Your browser asks permission first; if you decline or the device can't get a fix, you pick the property by hand and the photos file as a manual selection.
Mark it up
Draw, text and arrow annotations are stored as separate objects on the record, so two people can mark up the same photo and neither one's work overwrites the other's.
Flag damage, then resolve it
A damage flag carries a severity and stays open until someone resolves it. The flag and its resolution are both part of the record, which is what an insurance conversation actually turns on.
Before and after, side by side
Records are grouped into before/after sets so the condition at the first visit and the condition today sit next to each other instead of scattered across a camera roll.
The customer acknowledges it
A record or a whole job's records can be sent for a customer acknowledgment, and that acknowledgment is stored against the record: who, when, what they saw.
An insurance report, as a PDF
One export builds a chronological report for a job: before-service condition, each visit's photos, damage progression and tech notes, with timestamps and who took each one. Video entries are listed with a link rather than pretended into a still.
Works offline, syncs when it can
Pool backyards have bad signal. Captures queue and push when the connection returns, and the office pulls a resumable change log rather than re-downloading everything.
Nothing is silently deleted
Deleting a record leaves a tombstone, not a hole. In field service the photo you cannot find is a liability, so the history of what existed is kept even when the file is removed.
A walk through it
Photograph a proposal, review it, confirm it.
Proof stands on its own and is built into Construction and Service. It is also how photos work across Galley, Service, and Construction. Every photo a crew takes, a signed proposal, a job-site shot, a stage-complete picture, becomes a real record: read, GPS-stamped, and matched to the right job, instead of sitting in someone’s phone as a picture with no context.
“We don’t need you locked in. We want to unlock you. Give you the time and money back so you can perform at your very best.”
Photograph it, in Galley
Take a photo of a paper proposal, an old bid, or a rate sheet. Stinger reads it and lays out what it found as scope lines, item, quantity, unit, for you to check. Nothing prices and nothing lands on the job until you tap Confirm. Annabelle drafts; a person decides.
Every capture, GPS-stamped
A photo taken on a job doesn’t just get saved, it gets placed. On Service, every crew login and stop is GPS-stamped; on Construction, every stage-complete photo carries the site, the date, and the crew. If a phone’s location is off or denied, the screen still works, it asks for the address by hand instead of guessing.
In Galley: read, review, and never price blind
Where it shows up: Galley a photographed or uploaded proposal becomes reviewable scope lines on the takeoff. Service every crew stop and job-site photo carries a GPS stamp. Construction every stage-complete photo carries the site, date, and crew, GPS-stamped.
What's real vs. what's roadmap
Is the standalone Stinger Proof app available yet?
Running today
Upload, thumbnails, annotations, damage flags, before/after groups, customer acknowledgments, the insurance PDF, offline sync pull/push and a live change stream, all served by the same API the Construction and Service platforms embed.
Storage is local for now
Media is written to the server's own storage. The move to cloud object storage is wired in code but the bucket is not provisioned yet; when it is, nothing changes for the person taking the photo.
Stands on its own
Proof stands on its own, with the same records and its own front door. It is also built into Construction and Service.
Included in every tier
Proof ships inside the trade platforms, so it is part of every Command Center tier (Launch, Ignite, and Accelerate) rather than a separate subscription or a per-seat photo fee.
How it compares
Stinger Proof against CompanyCam, Encircle, and Buildertrend.
Proof stands on its own and is built into Construction and Service. What it already does that they don't: a dedicated damage-severity workflow built for insurance conversations, and it's included in your tier instead of a separate per-user fee.

When someone disputes what happened
A homeowner says the crew broke a paver. A tenant says the damage was already there. An insurer asks what the yard looked like on day one.
This is what the record actually holds for that conversation, and no more than that: we are not offering legal advice, and a record is not a guarantee of the outcome.
Dated and attributed
Every photo carries a capture time, who took it, and where, and each file is fingerprinted with a checksum at upload, so the same photo can be checked later against the same bytes. If a report can't show the picture itself (a video, or a thumbnail still generating), it says so rather than leaving a gap that looks like something was left out.
An audit trail on every change
Every add, edit, or removal on a record, an annotation, or a damage flag writes its own line to a change log: what changed, who changed it, and when, with the time set by the server, not sent from the device. The log is append-only, so a correction adds a new line rather than rewriting history, and it is there for your staff to review, on request.
An acknowledgment with a name on it
A customer acknowledgment records a signer's name, what they attested to in their own words, and when they signed, and locks it to the specific photos it covers so the signature can never end up separated from what it was signed against.
Locked once it is signed for
Once a photo is part of a signed acknowledgment, it cannot be deleted. The record and the signature stay together for as long as the dispute might come up.
One PDF, in order
The insurance report puts a job's photos in date order with the timestamp, GPS, and who took each one, plus every damage flag and its resolution, so day one and today sit in the same document instead of a text thread.
Where it fits
Build it. Service it. Prove it.
Construction cannot close a stage without its photo; Service logs the visit; Proof is the module both of them are writing to. When a customer disputes a repair or an adjuster asks what the yard looked like in March, the answer is one export away.
Proof stands on its own and is built into Construction and Service. See the full platform overview for how every module fits together.
Projects and photos
What a project record actually holds.
Projects and properties
Each project or property carries its address, customer, assigned person and trade template, and links to its jobs and visits.
Tagging and annotation
Caption and tag photos singly or in bulk, add measurements, and mark areas to blur or redact in an annotation.
Comments and tasks
Comment on a photo, mention a teammate, and assign a task from it.
Checklists and documents
Keep project checklists and report pages, and list named documents against a project.
Sharing and evidence
Sending it out, and standing behind it.
Share links
Create a share link for a gallery or project with an expiry, revoke it any time, and keep private details out of what the viewer sees.
Evidence holds
An owner can place a hold and lock photos, and ask a named person to acknowledge them; this is a record, not a legal ruling.
Downloadable records
Download a project, photo or conversation as a PDF or PNG record.
Field operations
Routes, vehicles, tools and serials.
Route planning
Route planning can take the forecast into account and fit extra stops into the day.
Vehicles and tools
Assign vehicles and tools to people, run inspections with photos, and count tools in and out.
Equipment serial tracking
Track an equipment serial from receipt to install against the customer and job, with warranty notes, and export the serial report.
Serial read from a photo
Annabelle can read a serial number from a photo and prefill it; you confirm it before it saves, and you can always type it.
Offline field forms
Fill in forms and readings in the field offline; they queue and replay once you are back online without duplicating.
Vendors and support
Manage vendors, support tickets, invitations and what happens when someone leaves.
